How to enable your webcam on the DeltaMaker

You'll need some things in order to complete this procedure:

2.5mm hex wrench

While your DeltaMaker is online and running, before starting the procedure, click the power symbol in the top right corner.  In the sub-menu click the "Show Webcam" button.  OctoPrint should report that the procedure completed successfully.

Once it has confirmed that it's completed, click the power symbol once again, and then click "Shutdown System".  After clicking this button, please wait 2-3 minutes before turning off the power to your DeltaMaker.

Disconnect the power and lay the DeltaMaker on its front face, with motor facing upwards,.  This is to keep from damaging the drive motor and power connector on the back.

On the bottom of the machine, there is a plate which needs to be removed to access the USB ports.IMG_20141216_131318.jpg

Pictured are the three screws that need to be removed. Use the 2.5mm hex wrench to remove these:

Once the bottom plate has been removed from the machine, you will need to take the USB cable on your webcam, and plug it into any open USB port on the right-hand side of the top (green) board.

Reassemble the bottom plate, reconnect the power to your DeltaMaker, and turn it on.  Log into the machine as normal, and on the "control" tab of the interface, you should see your webcam output.
